On 1 January 2026, the Australian Energy Market Commission published:

• version 242 National Electricity Rules, which incorporates the:

      Schedule 3 of the National Electricity Amendment (Integrating price-responsive resources into the    NEM) Rule 2024 No. 24; and

• version and 243 of the National Electricity Rules, which incorporates the:

      National Electricity Amendment (Retailer of Last Resort) Rule 2025
