WA: Lake Way Gas Pipeline

The Lake Way Gas Pipeline is a transmission pipeline located in mid-west Western Australia. It is owned and operated by the APA Operations Pty Ltd.

The Lake Way Gas Pipeline is 26 km in length, has an outer diameter of 110mm and a capacity of 1.9TJ/day. It transports gas from the Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP) to the Lake Way Potash Project situated in the Northern Goldfields Region, where the gas is used for power generation.

This pipeline was commissioned in 2021.
 
The Lake Way Gas Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 16 July 2021, the ERAWA granted a five-year Category 2 exemption under Part 23 to the Lake Way Gas Pipeline.
