WA: King of the Hills Pipeline

The King of the Hills Pipeline (KHP) is a transmission pipeline located near Tarmoola and Leonora, Western Australia. It is owned and operated by APA Operations Pty Ltd. APA Operations Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of APA Group.

The KHP is 13 km in length, 100 mm in diameter, and has a maximum capacity of 6 TJ/day.

The KHP delivers natural gas from the King of the Hills Offtake Facility off the Goldfields Gas Pipeline to the King of the Hills Delivery Station, also known as the Tarmoola Delivery Station.
The KHP is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the National Gas Access (WA) Law and Part 23 of the National Gas Rules (WA) (NGR (WA)).

The KHP was commissioned in 2022.

The WA Economic Regulation Authority granted Category 2 and 3 exemptions under Part 23 of the NGR (WA) for the KHP that apply from 16 August 2022 to 16 August 2027.
