WA: DCDP Sales Gas Pipline

The DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline, also known as the Devil Creek Development Project Sales Gas Pipeline or Devil Creek Sales Gas Pipeline, is a transmission pipeline located approximately 10 km inland from Gnoorea Point and 45 km west of Karratha, Western Australia.

The DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline is owned by Santos WA Northwest Pty Ltd and Santos Devil Creek Pty Ltd, and operated by Santos WA Energy Ltd. It was previously owned and operated by Apache Northwest Pty Ltd with Santos Offshore Pty Ltd.

The DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline is 100 metres in length and 508 mm in diameter. It delivers natural gas at a maximum capacity of 700 TJ/day.

The DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline commences at the Devil Creek Gas Plant and ends at a custody transfer tie-in on the DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline at the northern boundary of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.

The DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the National Gas Access (WA) Law and Part 23 of the National Gas Rules (WA) (NGR (WA)).

The WA Economic Regulation Authority granted Category 1 and 2 exemptions under Part 23 of the NGR (WA) for the DCDP Sales Gas Pipeline that apply from 17 June 2022 to 17 June 2027.
