Roma North (Mimas) Gas Pipeline

The Roma North (Mimas) Gas Pipeline (RNMGP) is a short lateral high-pressure pipeline located north of Roma, Queensland. It will convey natural gas from the Roma North (Mimas) Gas Processing Facility to Comet Ridge to Wallumbilla Pipeline (CRWP) and Queensland Gas Pipeline (QGP).

This RNMGP is approximately 1km in length, has a nominal diameter of DN 200 and a capacity of 57 TJ/day. 

The AER granted:

  •  a five-year category 1 exemption under Part 10 of the National Gas Rules on 22 July 2025
  • an exemption under Part 24 of the National Gas Rules on 10 April 2026

The RNMGP pipeline was commissioned in July 2025.
