The Atlas to Reedy Creek Pipeline (ARCP) is a high-pressure pipeline located southwest of Wandoan, Queensland. ARC Pipeline Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of APA Group, formerly owned by Senex until June 2025.
The ARCP is a single-direction pipeline running between the Atlas Gas Processing Facility in the Surat Basin and extends to a tie-in point on the Reedy Creek Wallumbilla Pipeline (RCWP) at Reedy Creek.
The ARCP:
- is 56.3 km in length and 300mm in diameter
- have a capacity of up to 115 TJ/d.
The ARCP will transport natural gas from the Surat Basin gas tenements southwest of Wandoan (including Senex Energy’s Project Atlas CSG Project, Atlas Stage 3 Project, and other potential future Senex projects, and other third-party projects) to the Reedy Creek to Wallumbilla Pipeline north of Yuleba, which is owned and operated by APA Group.
On 22 August 2025, the AER granted ARC Pipeline Pty Ltd a five-year exemption under Category 2 of Part 10 of the NGR.
The AER initially granted a five-year category 1 exemption under Part 10 of the National Gas Rules on 6 December 2024; however, this exemption was revoked on 22 August 2025 as ARCP no longer meets the criteria of 'not being a third-party access pipeline.'
The ARCP pipeline was commissioned for operation in February 2025.
