WA: Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline

The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is a transmission pipeline located in the eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia. It is owned by AGI Development Group Nominees Pty Ltd  (formerly the DBP Development Group (DDG), which was a subsidiary of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG)) and operated by AGI Development Group Pty Ltd. 

The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is 109 km in length (nominal diameter of 406.4mm and 254mm) and has a capacity of 337 TJ/day. The pipelines Wheatstone Lateral is 21 km and has a nominal diameter of 400mm. Chevron’s Wheatstone Domestic Gas Plant obtains processed natural gas that originates from the offshore North West Shelf. Afterwards the pipeline is used to transport the natural gas from Chevron's Wheatstone Gas Plant to Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline's (DBNGP) CS1. 

The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR.

The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline was completed in December 2016.
