WA: Fortescue River Gas Pipeline

The Fortescue River Gas Pipeline is a transmission pipeline in north-west Western Australia. The pipeline is owned by Fortescue River Gas Pipeline JV and operated by AGI Fortescue River Pty Ltd. The pipeline was formerly owned and operated by DBP Development Group (a subsidiary of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) renamed to AGI). 

The Fortescue River Gas Pipeline is 268 km in length and has a diameter of 400 mm, and a capacity of 64 TJ/day. It connects the Dampier Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) CS1 to Solomon Mine Hub /Power Stations. 

The Fortescue River Gas Pipeline is currently a non-scheme distribution system, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR.

The Fortescue River Gas Pipeline was completed in March 2015.
