On 14 August 2025, the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) will host an online forum from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm (AEST), on our consultation paper for the Integrated distribution system planning rule change request. 

Stakeholders will have the opportunity during the forum to ask the project team questions about the consultation paper that was published on 26 June 2025. Stakeholders should be aware the forum will be recorded. Following the forum, we will consolidate and publish the questions addressed to the AEMC, along with our responses.

During the forum, stakeholders will have the opportunity to ask the project team about the discussion paper, which was published today on 3 June 2025. Stakeholders should be aware the forum will be recorded. Following the forum, we will consolidate and publish the questions addressed to the AEMC, along with our responses.

The AEMC will be hosting a virtual public forum on Thursday 27 March, from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm AEDT.  

The forum’s purpose is to provide an overview of the ECGS gas reliability standard and associated settings rule change, which we expect to initiate through the publication of a consultation paper on 20 March. It will also be an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions to help develop their submissions.

We will also provide a brief introduction to the other rule change requests submitted as part of Stage 2 of the ECGS reliability and supply adequacy framework:

The Australian Energy Market Commission will hold a stakeholder forum from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM (AEST) on 4 July 2024 to discuss the Providing flexibility in the allocation of interconnector costs rule change draft determination.

The purpose of the forum is to provide an overview of the draft determination and to give stakeholders an opportunity to ask related questions.
