The Orana Spur Line is a transmission spur line located in central Queensland. The pipeline is owned by Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG), which is a joint venture between Origin Energy, ConocoPhillips and Sinopec.
The Orana Spur Line is approximately 9.5 km in length. It connects Jemena Gas Networks’ Darling Downs pipeline with APLNG’s Orana gas producing facility.
The Orana Spur Line is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 26 February 2018, the AER granted a 5 year category 1 and category 2 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the Orana Spur Line and several other spur lines under the name Eastern Network spur lines.
