Confidentiality Provisions for Network Connections – Sections 95 and 96

On 14 May 2009, the Commission published a notice under sections 95 and 96 of the National Electricity Law (NEL) to commence initial consultation on a Rule change proposal received from Grid Australia relating to confidentiality provisions for network connections. The Commission intends to expedite the Rule making process, subject to written objections, on the grounds that it is non-controversial.
The Commission invites interested parties to provide written submissions by 5 pm on Thursday 11 June 2009. Any objections to the expedited Rule making process must be received by 5 pm on Thursday 28 May 2009.
