AEMC launches new approach to public consultation on Rule change requests – starting with today’s Bid and Offer Validation Data proposal

On 11 June 2009, the Commission published a notice under section 95 of the National Electricity Law (NEL) to commence initial consultation on a Rule change proposal received from NEMMCO relating to proposed amendments to schedule 3.1 of the Rules. For the first time we have published a Consultation Paper with the section 95 announcement to provide better quality information for stakeholders who will be preparing first round submissions to inform the draft report. Submissions are due 10 July 2009.
